Head of Men’s Artistic Gymnastics

Milton Keynes Gymnastics are looking for a Head of Men’s Artistic Coach to lead and develop the Men’s squad.  The successful candidate will bring drive, passion and experience to this already successful team.  The facilities at Milton Keynes provide excellent training and squad building opportunities.  That, coupled with full support from management and existing staff means this role is a blank canvas to grow, build and develop Club, Elite and FIG squads. 

The role requires the full leadership and management of the Men’s programme, covering all aspects of gymnast development and staff management. 

The Role:

To Head up the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Programme at Milton Keynes Gymnastics. 

  • Deliver high-quality coaching to the Men’s Squad. 
  • To identify and organise the squad groups.
  • Manage the gymnasts’ training programmes and hours. 
  • Mentor and guide other members of staff within the MAG programme. 
  • General administration and other office duties relevant to the role.

  • Excellent coaching techniques
  • Ability to use initiative and to take responsibility for the programme.
  • A desire to manage and grow a successful programme.

NDP Tumbling Coach and Programme Manager

Milton Keynes Gymnastics

The Tumbling programme at Milton Keynes Gymnastics is extremely successful.  We have current British Champions and many more representing GB at major International events.  We are looking to expand on this success and grow the NDP section of our tumbling programme and are therefore recruiting a NDP Tumbling Coach and Programme Manager. 

The successful applicant will be required to lead, manage and grow the entire NDP Tumbling programme starting with its inception into the club. 

The Role:

To coach and manage a successful NDP Tumbling Programme at Milton Keynes Gymnastics. 

  • Deliver high-quality coaching to NDP level tumblers.
  • Identify talent within the gym environment.
  • Recruit gymnasts into the programme.
  • Manage gymnasts’ training programmes and hours.
  • Manage the marketing and advertising of the programme.
  • Recruit new staff as and when required.
  • Mentor and guide the NDP tumbling team.
  • Coach and develop an Elite Development group to work within the Elite Programme. 
  • Support the Head Tumbling Coach and other tumbling staff in the Elite Development Programme.
  • Administration and other office duties relevant to the management of the programme.

You need:

A passion for Gymnastics / Tumbling and a real desire to make a difference. 

  • Level 1 or higher gymnastics coaching qualification.  (Not necessarily in Tumbling.)
  • A gymnastic background and a good understanding of the sport. 
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and to take responsibility for the programme.
  • A desire to manage and grow a successful programme.

The details:

  • Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience.
  • The hours are:
  • oMonday to Friday.  4pm – 8.30pm
  • oSaturdays.  8.30am – 12.30pm. 
  • oPlus extra administration hours as required.  This has an option to increase as the programme grows.
